Wonderful Toy for a One Year Old September 3, 2010 ButterflySoulfire (Washington, DC USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This toy is as exactly as pictured, bright and bold. My one year old has had it for several months (since before his first birthday) and it's been loads of fun. He's had it since he was learning to walk and he still enjoys it. As he's grown, he's more able to maneuver it on his own. No problems with quality and the noise of the clacking alligators doesn't bother me--my son just loves it!. We have wall to wall carpeting and it moves along like the breeze. I recommend.
2 thumbs up for the Wodden Chomp and Clack Alligator Push Toy August 29, 2010 Bernadette M. Dimuzio (usa) What makes a great gift for a one year old boy? The Chomp and Clack! It's durable and easy to assemble. Out of all the gifts my nephew received on his birthday, I think this was one of his favorites. My sister loved the Chomp and Clack too because it's made out of wood and she will be able to pass it down to any future children her and her husband may have.
Great for babies learning to walk! July 24, 2010 Kathleen B. Sautner My granddaughter loves this toy. She pushes it all over the room and is getting stronger and stronger. She will be walking by herself soon!
Very happy with purchase July 15, 2010 J. Pretzer (Indiana) Our 11 month-old daughter has been playing with this for the past few months and has loved it. She uses it to walk around the house and now can adjust its path (but couldn't when we didn't want her to). It is well constructed and was a breeze to put together (screwed). It hits her well - the handle is higher than other walkers, which is good. We also purchased a second walker (a lion) and while it is fine, I wouldn't take the time to review it.
Very good! July 12, 2010 Dev (Austin, TX) I bought this for my friend's son for his first birthday, he took to it right away! Although he couldn't figure out how to turn it around on his own, he loved racing from one end of the house to the other. Now, a year and a half later, he has passed it on to my 1 year old. Sure it has suffered a bit in a year and a half of heavy use (he still played with it well after he walking on his own), but nothing a little wood glue can't fix. Initially I had purchased a Radio Flyer push wagon for my son to use (a LOT more expensive), but it turns out he likes the alligators MUCH more. It's nice and stable and it doesn't move too fast the way some of the lightweight plastic walkers do. The only drawback it that it is hard to turn with it, but that seems to be true of all the heavier/more stable walker toys I've found and I'll trade manueverability for safety and stability any day.
