 Great toy for imaginative preschoolers July 23, 2010

My grandson, a Toy Story fan, has a fascination with rocket ships. We purchased this toy for his 3rd birthday several months ago, and he plays with it every day! He creates different imaginary scenarios with dialogue and sound effects! The people and accessories are durable and perfect for hours of imaginary play. The age recommendation of 18 months and up is probably on target as children play with toys differently at various ages. As a grandmother, I am always looking for toys that will be played with and enjoyed long after the wrapping paper and ribbons are thrown away, and this it!

I love that the doors go back on easily. All three of my kids (4,3,and 1) enjoy playing with it. My nephews and nieces were visiting and they loved playing with it too. I love that the noises are not too loud or annoying. My son loves making things up so this is a great toy for him.

We bought one for our son turning 3, but our son turning 5 wants one so bad he can't stand it. They both think its the greatest toy ever and they love anything "space". Some friends of ours have 2 boys and they each have one and still play with them daily. The oldest is 6. That's why we bought it. This toy is fun, durable, makes great sounds and the handle is perfect. Our 3-year old loves to play with toys that are too big for him and he usually gets frustrated. Three is a great age to get started with this toy.
