| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Designed for kids ages 3-5, the mini is the quality choice in children's scooters. In 2009, the mini was recognized by the prestigious Oppenheim Toy Portfolio, which awarded it the Gold and the Platinum Best Toy Award Seals. The mini also was named 'Best Pre-School Scooter' by Toy Report. What makes the mini fun and unique is its 'lean-and-steer' design which allows children to use their body weight to control the steering, giving kids the feeling of 'surfing' the sidewalk, as they curve from right to left, almost like a skateboard. The lean-and-steer adds an element of fun and control that young children love. The mini's 3 wheels provide greater stability. The wheels are Italian-made of highest quality PU, which creates a wonderfully smooth glide. The wheels also make for a quiet ride, a joy for parents and children alike and since they don't leave black marks on the floor, the mini can be ridden inside. The kickboard is low-to-the-ground and large enough for both feet, making it easy for young children to hop on and off and to switch from pushing, to just enjoying the ride. The 'spoon' brake at the back adds additional control, and kids like it because its just like the 'big kid' scooters. For parents, the mini scooter's light weight (only 3.3lbs), means it's easy to pick up and carry when need be. The mini scooter helps young children to develop their balance, co-ordination and motor skills. The mini scooter is designed with a weight recommendation of 60lbs. Please note that the scooter displays a weight limit of 20kg (44 lbs). The reason for the discrepancy is that European standards dictate that weights are approved in increments of 10 kg (22lbs), so the next available weight category of 30 kg, or 66 lbs, would have put the displayed recommended weight limit OVER its actual recommendation of 60 lbs. The mini is a great mode of mobility for young kids! Available in blue, pink, orange and aqua.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this Scooter July 23, 2010 S. P. Judy We have had this scooter for about 6 months. We purchased it through another website for half the price. Our now 2 and a half year old has been riding this since he just turned two and took to it very quickly. It is a very easy to ride scooter and he keeps up with his two older siblings and other neighborhood children very well. He looks like a dynamo on the thing, hard to believe he is two. By far his favorite toy and we use it everyday weather permitting. I had to replace the rear wheel and the brake for a total cost (with shipping) of $15.99, but it was easy to do. We have the orange (which is now my 2 yr olds favorite color) and though it has faded a tiny bit, it still looks good after 6 months of hard use and storage on our porch or garage. I recommend this scooter for anybody looking for one for a preschooler.
Perfect for the scooter novice child! July 8, 2010 Mom of 2 kidlets (Riverside, California United States) I cannot sing enough praises about this scooter! We gave it to my daughter for her 4th birthday. She is not particularly coordinated, but spry and energetic so we thought it was worth a try. She absolutely loves the scooter and tells me so regularly. I bought this scooter after reading many online reviews and agree whole-heartedly it is a great product. Assembly was a snap (literally, just snap the handle bar in place) and the quality is outstanding, the parts are really made to last. It is easy to ride, my daughter was successful after 2 or 3 tries. After spending a bit more time she understood how to push on each side of the handle to steer so she could maneuver down our curved walkway. Tonight she rode it for 2 out of 3 miles for our evening walk! She asks to ride it all the time, it is so cute and I love that it is something active for her to do. Well worth the price to have something so well made that is easy to use. I think this will be a great transition to a razor or more advanced scooter and would recommend it to anybody.
Great for my 2 and 3 1/2 year olds! May 27, 2010 minibus (Seattle, WA USA) We bought two of these scooters for my 2 and 3 1/2 year old (the orange and the aqua ones). They LOVE them! They had NO problem getting on them and scooting away. The scooters are the perfect size and will probably last for the next couple of years in terms of size. They are very stable and setup consists of taking two parts out of the box, putting the pole into the base, and ... nothing. That's it. I would definitely recommend these scooters for this age range, from 2 up to maybe 4 or 5 years old, depending on how athletic and how big your child is. I wouldn't recommend it beyond that age range, it's just a small, starter scooter.
Bought for 4 year old May 26, 2010 Patrick J. Mcnamar (Colorado) Bought this for our four year old grandson. He enjoyed it immensely and was able to scoot around with it almost immediately. Still working on putting both feet on the board but getting close.
Price point is hard to swallow May 9, 2010 M. McGrath (Brooklyn, NY) My two-year-old started riding scooters like this when she was about 18 months old, and they are so well-designed. It is light enough for her to carry, and she goes so fast that she can almost keep up with her 5- and 9-year-old siblings. She can ride other scooters, but none give the speed or control this one does. Our only hesitation getting this was that it COSTS EIGHTY DOLLARS. Spending that kind of money on a two-year-old, especially when other scooters are in the forty-dollar range, gave us pause, but in the end, it was like my oldest's American Girl doll. We couldn't find a used one, or any less-expensive equivalent. We have been very pleased with it, and expect she will use it for a long time, but I hate the status-symbol, conspicuous consumption aspect of it.
