2 for 1 July 22, 2010 Michael J. Bridges My daughter has this. It is safe enough to reside in her crib. The handle serves as a "teether", so it is both a book & a teething toy. Thus 2 good toys in one unit & affordably priced. Fab deal. She loves it. Hence I love it. Smiles all around, & 2 thumbs up. ~rhonda bridges
Multi-functional, engaging book May 17, 2010 Ashley Tramel I bought this for my son because I wanted a photo album for him that he could play with and not destroy it! (Haha) He LOVES this book! I have another one sort of like it (the Baby Einstein Baby's Photo Book), but I like this one a little more. Unlike other baby photo albums, this one has black and white pictures and patterns underneath where you insert photos. My son LOVES to look at them, so I haven't even put pictures in it yet! He also likes to chew on the handle (the black part of it is sort of rubbery). It has held up really well to baby wear and tear!

Until today, if I had rated this product, it would have gotten 4 stars (I would have deducted 1 star because the plastic bunches up on the pictures). I purchased this look book at Target about three months ago. This morning my 7 month-old daughter was playing next to me and outsmarted the book. She ripped the clear protective sheet clean off one of the photos. I'm thankful I was sitting here with her, or else she'd have had either the clear piece or the picture in her mouth.
My 7 Month Old Loves It April 6, 2010 Candy Coated Each page inside has black and white patterns from polka-dots to strips, bullseye, etc. My 7 month old loves looking at it, holding it, tossing it, flipping the pages, and chewing on its soft sponge filled pages. He even chews on the rubber like handle. I am not too fond of the shiny transparent plastic that holds the photos in place because dust and grim sticks to it - you can wipe it clean though. I have not put photos into it but I think they will be wrinkled up seeing the pages are soft and bends easily. I think it's a great toy to have. You can attach it to link rings so you don't loose it plus babies love having their own books, otherwise they'll go after yours!
Great contrasting designs for babies' vision development March 18, 2010 Caryn S. Mcginty (Utah) I'd heard that babies love high contrast black and white images and that they're good for brain and vision development, so I was thrilled to find this look book. The book is just stiff enough so we can easily prop it open in front of our baby during tummy time or other floor play. She will just lie there and stare and stare at whatever image we open it to. Last night my husband picked the book up to turn the page and she immediately started squawking because she was enjoying looking at the current image so much. We'll probably eventually use the look book for actual photos when she's tired of the black and white images, but I actually bought it for the black and white images; the photo pockets are just a bonus.
