Available now in Aqua, Orange, Blue or Pink, the mini scooter is the quality scooter for young children. Its unique 'lean-and-steer' design allows children to use their body weight to control the steering, giving kids the feeling of 'surfing' the sidewalk, as they curve from right to left, almost like a skateboard, adding an element of fun and control that young children love. The mini is designed with 3 wheels for greater stability. The Italian-made wheels, of highest quality PU create a wonderfully smooth glide -- and a quiet ride (a joy for parents and children alike!). The kickboard is low-to-the-ground and large enough for both feet, making it easy for young children to hop on and off and to switch from pushing, to just enjoying the ride, with both feet on deck. The 'spoon' brake at the back adds additional control, and kids like it because its just like the 'big kid' scooters. For parents, the mini scooter's light weight (only 3.3lbs), means it's easy to pick up and carry when need be. The mini makes scooting fun for young children at the same time as helping to develop their balance, co-ordination and motor skills. The mini scooter is designed with a weight recommendation of 60lbs. Please note that the scooter displays a weight limit of 20kg (44 lbs). The reason for the discrepancy is that European standards dictate that weights are approved and displayed only in increments of 10 kg (22lbs), so the next available weight category of 30 kg, or 66 lbs, would have put the displayed recommended weight limit OVER its actual recommendation of 60 lbs. For fun and transport, the mini kick scooter is quality choice.

I purchased two (2) Mini Kick Scooters for my twin daughters who are 3 1/2 years old. They love them. They are adorable (the scooters and the twins). The rider steers by leaning which changes the direction of the the front wheels. They beg to bring their Mini Kick Scooter all around town and they bring them inside the house. The first night they slept with them in their room.
The scooters are very light and the plastic "board" is very attractive. I believe that the weight maximums are accurate. I would not let an older child ride the Mini Kick Scooter. Children over 50 or 60 pounds probably would break the board or the steering mechanism. For a young child the low weight is a big advantage. They seem very durable as long as they are not ridden by people who weigh more than 50 or 60 pounds.
Buy one for your young child. I may buy the full-size scooter for myself. These scooters are terrific.

Although its age range is 3-5, it seems difficult to maneuver for my 3 year old son. You turn it by leaning your upper body into the handles to the left or right, as the base is "soft" and gives to turn the scooter. This process of turning seems to scares my son - I think he feels like he is going to fall off. Interestingly, my 10 year old daughter and her friends enjoy it. Hopefully he will enjoy it too soon.

My 4 years old daughter LOVES this scooter. First, I bought for her the Radio Flyer my 1st scooter... bad decision. The base of the radio flyer scooter was too big for her to easily push herself. A different history with the Mini Kick Scooter, she enjoys every minute. It is very easy to turn. The quality is great and it is something that you may expect from the not cheap price tag... nice to know that you are indeed getting what you pay for. The wheels are high quality! the only con, I wish you could easily fold it for easy storage... for me this is a minor con compared with the many, many pros. get it now!

Though this is a little pricey we are so happy we bought this scooter. My on recieved this scooter for his 2nd birthday and really loves. He can follow the big kids up and own the road and have a great time. Steering is easy which is important for toddlers because the are still learning that concept. Better than all the other toddler scooters we looked at!
