Fun time for little kids August 3, 2010 Chi's Mom (Orange County, CA USA) This toy is fun for little kids who love sending and recieving mail. it has stamps that velcro onto the letters and they have to sort out the size and shape into the slots.
The Best Toy Ever Invented June 15, 2010 Max's Mama I bought this toy for my 2-year old son (secretly) because I wanted to play with it. It did not disappoint. Both of us love stamping and sorting the mail each afternoon before we get the real mail. Plus, it looks adorable in our house because it so closely resembles a real mailbox. What else can I say? This is a fun, educational, well-built toy that will appeal to everyone ages 2-32!
Sturdy and fun February 23, 2010 Picky Mom (Detroit, MI) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this for my 2 year old son, although I knew my 4 year old daughter would also enjoy it. They both enjoy playing with it, although they play in different ways. My son uses it as a typical shape sorter, trying to figure out in which slot each letter fits. My daughter, however, plays "mailman." While the variety of play is somewhat limited, (which is why I gave it 4 stars) it is an excellent mailbox toy. Each "letter" is very sturdy and colorful and each has creative addressees, pictures, and text. The equally sturdy "stamps" can attach to any letter via Velcro and stay well. It has a learning aspect, because a letter will only fit in one of the slots, based on its size. The mailbox itself is very solid and sturdy and comes with an oversized "key" to open the door and remove the "mail." I think it is a very good quality product and fun for younger children.
Good, sturdy toy. February 14, 2010 Cubiclewarrior (St. Louis, MO) Our almost two year old really enjoys the mail--getting the mail, sorting the mail, "reading" the mail, etc... So this toy has been well received. It's very sturdy and so far the velcro for the stamps is holding up well. The wood is relatively thick, and the locking door/key works well and has been the most popular part so far in our house.
Fabulous for Preschoolers February 10, 2010 A. Purcell (West Virginia) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is a terrific toy. Out of the hundereds I spent at Christmas, this toy has gotten the most playing time from my 3 1/2 year old and 10 month old. I definitely recommend it. It is fun and simple and quiet!! THey love mixing and matching the stamps and using the key.
